We get some really great questions every time we do a webinar. Our recent one – on the power of gomo as an authoring tool – was no exception.
So what better way to share these insights than gomo’s MD, Mike Alcock, answering burning questions on all things gomo?
Question 1: Anything goes
Can I embed other things besides video in the gomo iFrame, like games, 3D renderings and surveys?
Mike: You can indeed. We do this all the time. Basically anything that can run on the internet can generally go through the iFrame. So we’ve brought in things like Adobe Edge animations, H5P games, Google Street View, Google Maps, other websites…
The only caveat we say with this is make sure that whatever you’re putting in there is responsive. So if you put something non-responsive in, like a storyline object, it will generally compromise the experience because you’ll end up with scroll bars or it will fail to deploy properly.
