Jumping into the “Virtual Company” Pool

For years, many of us made the Monday through Friday pilgrimage – in the office by 8 am, and leave sometime after 5 pm. We had to. In the “customer service business” (which should be everyone’s core business, in my opinion), we needed to be accessible to our customers and clients, we needed to be physically present to meet with our co-workers, and we needed to be visible in the office so company management would know we were “working”.
