It’s February and if you’re like many, your New Year’s resolution has fallen by the wayside, the victim of good intentions and dwindling motivation. This is especially true when it comes to fitness. Most people start with a bang. Maybe they join or recommit to going to a health club. But in one or two months they have given up or even simply forgotten their goals. The key to fitness and wellbeing is not just conditioning your body, but also your mind. In the exercise science program at Globe University, we train students to help others do just that.
It all starts with your “why”. This is your fuel to drive you to your goals. The deeper you see and understand your “why”, the more power you will have to drive through the obstacles that will come your way. Without understanding the “why”, we are just adding something or subtracting something from our lives instead of looking to change our life.
