Like infographics? Love @Canva

As an early adopter, I’ve been a big fan of Canva for some time. I’ve written about it a number of times, both using it as a tool within the browser version and as an iPad App.

I was really thrilled to see the addition of infographics to their repertoire of fab templates this morning.

Using their simple templates, you can create stunning infographics quickly and easily.

I won’t go in to much detail as you don’t need much in the way of training with it and there’s help on hand within the browser or App too. All elements are customisable. The only word of warning is that the library of images to use, I feel, is quite expensive, should you wish to use them. You can add your own images from your personal library or you can build your elements using images that can be found through image search sites such as CC Search which I’ve written about here on Staffrm. At $1.00 per item, that is simply not sustainable, in my opinion, for educators looking to make great graphics.  That said, by using your own images you can create some great designs for free.
