MBA Grad Aids in Uniting Education for Girls in Liberia

Globe University-Minneapolis alumni, Nancy Lewis is using her education to help young girls a world away. Lewis, who graduated with her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in human resources, created a business plan for a non-profit agency in Liberia called Unite for Girls Education. It’s an agency providing mentoring programs for girls in elementary and middle school.

“As a Liberian girl, I was given the opportunity to realize my dream of being independent and productive with the possibility of a brighter future through education,” she says. “I hope to do the same for many girls like me who do not have the same opportunity I was given and I am sure that creating Unite for Girls Education will be the first step.”
