Mind Click introduces gamification to Tesco’s e-learning

Tesco came to Mind Click with a compliance training need. They wanted to update their fire safety training from a long-winded 80 page workbook to something fresh and engaging.

Rather than create a traditional e-learning solution, we wanted to create an innovative piece of learning that instigated real behavioural change within Tesco.

Recently we’ve been inundated with requests from our customers for gamified e-learning, also referred to as gamification. After deciding to create a game for Tesco and undertaking some research, we quickly discovered that most of the main authoring tools just weren’t capable of delivering the rich gaming experience that learners have come to expect (particularly given the quality of games we use on our mobiles every day).
