Minnesota School of Business – Richfield Makes Positive Impact in Local Community

Minnesota School of Business-Richfield staff and faculty volunteering at the city of Bloomington parks for Community Service Day.

Minnesota School of Business – Richfield campus spent community service day volunteering in the city of Bloomington cleaning their parks. For the past nine years, the Globe Education Network (GEN) has dedicated one day to closing each campus and sending the staff and faculty out to volunteer in their local communities.

“I love community service day because it not only serves our community, but it also gives us a day to bond as a campus,” said Diana Welter, who was just promoted to Director of Career Services. “We didn’t find much garbage, but we did have a lot of laughs.”

Campus Director, Miriam N. Williams, M.Ed., comments on how activities like today do bond our team, but they also illustrate our “We Care” philosophy to the local community where I students, staff and faculty reside.
