On Sunday, September 13, members of the SCNAVTA (Student Chapter of National Veterinary Technicians in America) group at Minnesota School of Business-Blaine participated in RAGOM’s (Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota) Goldzilla event.
Under the supervision of Kelly Noyes, CVT, SCNAVTA Advisor, and veterinary technology program instructor, SCNAVTA students Brittany Rivera, Ashlie Kerr, Kelly Xiong, Melanie Smith, Kate Mayer and Danielle Young performed nail trims and ear cleanings for donations, helping to raise $35,000 for the annual event! Students were able to practice essential skills for their introductory classes and engage with the public about their chosen profession, while representing Blaine Campus.
