MSB – Rochester Student Presents at 2016 Mayo Clinic Quality Conference

The Mayo Clinic Quality Conference 2016 is an event for Mayo Clinic colleagues to share
stories and examples of process improvement, patient safety, education and service to our patients. The goal of the conference is to inspire and galvanize staff to engage in quality activities that improve the value provided to Mayo Clinic patients.

Minnesota School of Business – Rochester student and Mayo Clinic employee Emily Gammel created a poster and presented it at the Mayo Clinic Quality Conference on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Emily is a health care management (HCM) student graduating this month, who took her capstone project and turned it into a submission to the Mayo Clinic quality conference.

“It’s great learning, networking, and brainstorming for ways to improve healthcare,” Emily said.
