New Higher Education Licence 2016-2019 from the CLA: what you need to know

The Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) recently announced that they have reached an agreement with UUK/Guild HE on an enhanced Higher Education License. You can read their update here.

The new agreement outlines a number of changes that have been anticipated for a while. There are a number of welcome changes in the new licence, especially the changes to reporting, which will apply to Talis Aspire and anyone using our copyright-cleared content capability. As per our previous joint-announcement with the CLA, we are working with them bring the benefits of the new reporting requirements to Talis Aspire users.
