As a nurse’s aide, you are far more than just an aide to the nurse. Nurse’s aides are generally the support staff that spends the most time with the patient during their stay. They are a vital part of the team that takes care of a patient from the time of admission until the time of discharge. They are responsible for helping to bathe, feed, monitor vital signs and take care of the overall wellbeing of the patient. Aides often take care of a patient in their most vulnerable time.
