How do decisions about the design of online courses impact student learning? This was a discussion prompt in one of my online classes this semester and one of responded by saying, “Online student success is messy.”
Yes! It is messy. There are no cut-and-dried techniques or sure-fire strategies that meet the needs of all students, courses, and schools. But it is important to know that students are successful in any program you are interested in attending. What does student success mean to you? What evidence of student success should you look for when comparing online programs?
