Personal Struggle Becomes Professional Triumph for GU Graduate

Exercise science graduate, Cassie Synder, created a marketing plan for a future business called Exercise for Sanity. This business would focus on offering a more natural and individualized way of coping or even riding an individual of a mood or mental disorder.

There are hundreds if not thousands of people being diagnosed with a mood disorder or mental disorder every day. For these people, their only option as the doctors in psychologist see right now is pharmaceutical medication.

β€œI chose to create the marketing plan for Exercise for Sanity because I have also been diagnosed with a few different mood disorders,” said Cassie. β€œIn my experience, I feel so much better when exercising and eating right, than I ever did on the many pills that have been prescribed to me. So I want to share that with everyone.”
