Pet Spa is a Big Success for Plymouth Vet Tech Students

The Minnesota School of Business- Plymouth SCNAVTA Vet Tech club hosted its yearly pet spa on Saturday, August 29.  The event provided the general public with grooming services for dogs and cats.   The most popular service was the “Works” which included full baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, and minor grooming for both dogs and cats all at small fees.

The planning was run by the students. They created flyers and distributed them to business  and apartments around the Plymouth campus.  Students baked desserts for the concession table, and  two also helped create the beach scene back drop for our pet photo booth. The photos were included in the grooming packages.

“I thought the pet spa was an awesome opportunity for us to provide a service to the community and demonstrate our skills. I enjoyed the challenge of working with the pets that were just too excited to sit still!” said VT student, Jordyn Miller.
