At the moment there are 2,456 photos on my phone. At the weekend I deleted over 600 from days out or family holidays (2019) or screenshots or other miscellaneous pics.

Once a week I back my photos up to Dropbox, where I’ve photos from as early as 1999 (scanned). I’ve photos from as far back as 1955, when my dad and grandfather used to produce slides from their camera rolls (long since digitised) – probably about 6,000 of these too.

Once I’ve loaded/synch’d with Dropbox I’ll delete most from my phone, but I keep the ‘better’ ones.

I’ve amassed over 30,000 photos, over 900gb of data, since 1999. All backed up to Dropbox initially and then to an external hard drive every month. And then to a 2nd external hard drive that’s backed up every 6 months or so.
