Polymet Mining to Discuss Duluth Mining Complex at GU-Woodbury

Globe University-Woodbury invites students, staff and faculty to attend a free presentation by Polymet Mining at 11 a.m. and/or 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26, in the Student Commons.

This is the second time Business Program Chair, Tom Hakko, has invited the company to come and speak to students about their mining proposal in the state of Minnesota.

“We are very fortunate to have PolyMet Mining agree to come to our school. The future of the state of Minnesota is going to be affected whether it approves the mining plans or not. It is very rare to be at the crossroads for the next 50 years of development at the state level and to have our students be part of the history is exciting,” said Hakko.
