Proud to be a Woodbury Business

The city of Woodbury was honored at the 2016 All-American City Awards held in Colorado this June. Globe University-Woodbury Campus Director, Lisa Palermo, attended on behalf of the Woodbury Area Chamber Commerce, where she sits as the First Vice Chair representing Globe University.

“I felt great pride that I work in such a great city like Woodbury,” said Lisa. “This event reinvigorated my belief in America, showing that just one person can make a big difference.”

The All-American City Award spotlights community efforts ensuring all children are healthy and supported to succeed in school, life, including initiatives that promote access to health care, education and jobs, according to the Mayor of Denver, Colorado, Michael B. Hancock.

Woodbury and Columbia Heights where the two Minnesota city finalists out of 20 cities who were invited to this event; and Columbia Heights was one of the 10 2016 All-America City Winners.
