Reading List of the Week – Intermediate Banking And Financial Intermediation, University of Bedfordshire

Our Reading List of the Week is Intermediate Banking And Financial Intermediation from the University of Bedfordshire.

This list is split up into 3 main sections, ‘Core Text’, ‘Guided Reading’ and ‘Independent Study’. This helps the students by making it clear what is expected of them and when. By having a separate section for ‘Guided Reading’, which is split up into weeks, the student can follow the list, ensuring they have done the reading tasks for each lecture. Notes and chapter selections by the academic, shown in the screenshot below, make prioritising reading tasks even easier for the student, as they can focus on what is required.

Pulling out material for independent study allows the student to plan their reading, understanding what is required and what is considered relevant to the course as additional reading. As the academic adds in the notes below “To receive high grades, you will need to demonstrate your wider reading.”
