Our Reading List of the Week is Digital Business Management, part of Business Management BA studies at the University of Bedfordshire.
This list is divided up by areas of learning, for example Core Text, Guided Reading and Independent study. This makes it easier for the academic to assign reading and also for the student to prioritise their reading tasks.
A great feature of this list is the labels assigned to each section that explain what each section means, for example under ‘Guided Reading’ is written ‘The following is the expected reading for the unit.’ which makes it clear for students the purpose of each section and what is required of them.
Another great feature is the sub-list of journals that has been created using the section tool, which helps organise the list and makes it very clear for the student which types of content they should use, again reducing time by helping them prioritise their reading tasks. This may be particularly useful for certain subjects, for example business management, when examples for journals, as well as books or articles, are essential for a higher grade.
