Reflecting Upon Juneteenth

Juneteenth, observed on June 19th, is a national holiday celebrating the emancipation of enslaved Americans. Today, we take the time to reflect upon and educate ourselves on previous events in American history. By doing so, we can work towards doing our part in creating a more tolerant and inclusive society. 

In honor of Juneteenth, our staff at We Can Code IT will be having a silent reflection between 2:15 and 3:15 PM, to focus on inclusion and diversity in our own way while educating ourselves on the holiday.
