Sakai brings Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

While Sakai is primarily used for instruction in course sites, did you know that the learning management system is also used for several other projects unrelated to courses at UNC? We had over 2,200 project sites created just for the Spring 2015 Semester!

Sakai, the open source learning management system (LMS) used at UNC supports teaching and learning, research, and collaboration. Staff members across campus are using Sakai for multiple use cases, such as research, grant proposals, reviews on faculty/staff members, and training.
