Showcasing Talis API Integration with the University of Warwick’s Module Pages

Talis Aspire APIs are used by Universities to create custom integrations of Talis Aspire Reading List content within their institution.

Using these APIs, the University of Warwick’s Economics IT Team have built a quick view of reading list content directly within their course module pages, allowing students easy access to a summary of their reading list content.

Item data for the list matching module EC208 has been retrieved through simple API calls.  The data has then been grouped by type, and built into a list for users to explore.

This tooling helps direct students towards their reading lists directly at one of their most likely points of interaction.  Furthermore, clicking on item titles take the user directly to the resource within reading lists itself, helping to increase awareness of the tools and resources available to facilitate learning.
