Study Shows Digital Marketing Careers Offer Great Life-Work Balance

The face of marketing is changing. More than ever, marketing departments are combining traditional advertising with online marketing channels such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. So now is a great time to start thinking about a career in digital marketing.

According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, this career field is projected to grow 9 percent from 2014 to 2024, faster than the average for all occupations.

Besides the growing demand for digital marketing, a recent study by Glassdoor shows six digital marketing positions that have the highest marks when it comes to work-life balance.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager

An SEO manager builds traffic to business websites by leveraging referrals from search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo. SEO managers must be comfortable with analytical tools and detailed research. At some companies, they’re also responsible for search engine marketing (SEM) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
