Taking great video on your phone

Ok, well, it may not be “great”, but if we find ourselves desperate enough to use our phone for video…we’re just looking for good enough.

Even with the iPhone 6 that was recently released that is featuring a camera that records at 1080p HD, there are still a few major differences between a phone’s camera and a camcorder.  These are the three major limitations of a phone camera.

1. They are far smaller and require far greater light.
2. There is not a built-in image stabilizer
3. Poor audio quality

These are certainly three great reasons to have a camcorder available in your classroom or somewhere in your building that you can get access.  But, sometimes a phone is all you’ve got.  So let’s make sure it will capture the best video it can.  Here’s how to do it.
