Technology Should Work for Curriculum

Technology should work for curriculum, not the other way around. You already get the gist of this post.

I’m sure you’ve read about or talked about districts working in silos; where two or more departments work independently instead of together. I don’t think this is an accurate way to describe what happens with technology departments in school districts. Instead, too often, technology departments lead the way on decisions in the district. This is dangerous and short sighted. It is easy for these departments to do this because other departments are not knowledgeable enough in the way technology works to stop it.
