The LMS: Designing a course or a curse? (#MMMUp)

Reflections on Moodle-Mahara Meet-up University of South Australia, Adelaide. 

The keynote speaker Dominique Alain Jan, University of Lausanne, introduced an interesting conundrum for learning technologies. The larger one’s catalogue becomes and the more resources a course contains, the less responsive they may become (curses). The metaphor presented for this was that of a building a large ship that is slow to change direction.
