The Truth about Finding a Job… and How We Can Help You

When it comes to finding a job, there’s a lot more to it than simply hitting the “apply” button, sending your CV into the dark corners of cyberspace and hoping for a reply. Because sadly, a lot of the time, there isn’t one – especially if you’re lacking the two major factors key to finding a job: skills and experience.

Often these two components are wedded together. Why? Well, employers want to see your skills but also the experience that validates those skills. So you say you know about social media, you’re a great communicator and a dab hand at Photoshop. If you weren’t, 50 of your LinkedIn connections wouldn’t have endorsed you for it…right?

But until you’ve got the practical experience under your belt to prove those skills, unfortunately these endorsements amount to very little. Employers want to see evidence of your skills to demonstrate that you are the right person for the job advertised. If there’s anything more important in today’s job market than being skilled, it’s being able to prove those skills.
