With its simple format comes new lingo.
Channels are the different web services that can be connected via IFTTT. At the time of writing this, there are 214 channels including Facebook, Instagram, Google Drive and iOS Location.
When put together they are called Recipies.
There are lots of recipies available and there is the option to make your own.
They can range from simple instructions like “if I post something on facebook, also post it on twitter” to the more complex “if I go to a location, use my phones gps to note how long I was there and update a speadsheet on my Google Drive”- which is suggested to be used to track the hours you spent at work.
