TikTok introduces feature to monitor teens digital footprints

TikTok has introduced a family pairing feature that will allow parents and teens to customize their safety settings based on their individual needs. The feature will be ready in weeks, and it will enable parents to pair their TikTok accounts to those of their teens.

The app allows users from the age of 13 who are mostly naive teens that still need parental guidance.  In addition to Family Pairing, TikTok already offers several resources to support users, including educational safety videos and parental guides.

 With more significant reason, families have turned to social platforms like TikTok to stay entertained, informed, and connected. The lockdown, quarantines, and social distancing have limited everyone to stick to digital entertainment sources for fun and entertainment.
