The holidays are already stressful enough with planning parties, traveling and buying gifts. So how do you manage to fit it all in with classes and work? As a working college student, you already know that time can either make or break your day.
According to a U.S. Census report, 72 percent of the nation’s 19.7 million college undergraduates were working in 2011, as were 82 percent of the 4.1 million graduate students.
So where do you start?
We often talk more about not having enough time rather than focusing on how to best make use of the time we do have.
First, you need to keep in mind time management isn’t something you will master overnight. Ironically, it takes time to learn and time to master.
“Remember that you don’t need to have a degree in time management to manage your day effectively,” Maria Leonard, MBA, project director of curriculum development, said.
