Vet Tech Students from Blaine and Woodbury Join Forces to Learn About Wolves

On August 12 the students from Julie Oglesby’s Lab Animals, Exotics and Pocket Pets class at Minnesota School of Business-Blaine joined fellow students from Globe University-Woodbury on a field trip to The Wildlife Science Center in Columbus, MN. The field trip was led by Dawn Harvego, CVT.

Veterinary technology program students from Globe University and Minnesota School of Business at The Wildlife Center in Columbus, MN.

The Center is a non-profit organization, aimed at providing exposure though education, research, and conservation. Here, they conduct various humane studies in behavior and reproduction, among others.

The students received an up-close and personal look at a variety of wild animals that the center uses for research purposes and behavior studies. The group was met by Bob Ebsen, who is a licensed science teacher and has been with the center since 2001.
