Video Assets that Trigger a Learner’s Senses

So, you’ve decided that videos are a valuable tool to have in your learning arsenal; after all, they appeal to all generation; specifically, the Millennials – can you say YouTube? You’ve done your research and you have found that videos don’t have to be expensive to make and they appeal to many of the learning types; especially visual and hearing learners.

Then one of your co-workers says, “make sure that you include assets that trigger the learners’ senses; that way they’ll really be engaged!”

What? Engage their senses? We’re talking about the five senses, right? In a video, right? Assets?

After giving it some thought about the senses you think, “why not?” When you involve more than one of the senses you have a better success with the transference of knowledge. You’ve been incorporating these concepts into classroom training for years, so how do you make sure you have the same engagement with a video?
