We Care: Globe U Staff Gives Back to Mothers In Need

As an expectant mother  myself, I know firsthand how daunting having a baby can be. Not only do you have a new little baby to care for, you also have to buy a large amount of supplies to keep them fed, clothed, safe and healthy. For many new mothers, buying the basic needs for their child can be a struggle.

That is where Babies Need Boxes comes in. Babies Need Boxes is a non-profit organization that provides a box filled with many of the basic items an infant will need to young mothers. From diapers to burp clothes, the box has all of the basics covered.

One of the most valuable items is the box itself. The box actually doubles as a bassinet and comes with a mattress, sheet and safe sleeping literature. The mission behind Babies Needs Boxes is to decrease infant mortality rates of infants with young and vulnerable mothers.
