Lecture…try as we might to avoid it, it can be a necessary component of our overall learning plan due to the topic at hand, the client’s request, or other circumstances. To enhance the learner’s experience during a lecture component, how about coupling that lecture with guided notetaking?

Guided notetaking transforms the learner from a passive student to an active participant. It provides learners with background information and standard cues with specific spaces to write down key facts, concepts, and questions during the training event.
