What does an automation look like?
Have you ever seen one of these?
This is called an ‘automation’ or a ‘workflow’, and it is a way of setting a sequence of actions inside a business platform to make technology run your business for you, on auto-pilot.
You can set the automation to ‘fire off’, when a customer opts in to a freebie, or buys a product or service from you, fills in a form or many other actions.
Then, you can tell the system to do an endless array of other tasks for you, such as grant them access to a product, send an email, tag them, move them to a certain stage in your sales pipeline and much more.
EVERY business should at LEAST have the following automations:
A ‘Welcome’ email sequence when somebody opts in to your email list An ‘Ongoing Nurture Sequence’ to keep your list enagaged A product/course/service sequence that delivers the product, grants automatic access, check-ins in with them to increase completion rates collects reviews and upsells at the end
