Peer Learning is one of the most effective forms of company training there is. It helps make company training courses and lessons much more engaging and relatable by learners. What is Peer Learning?

Peer Learning occurs when a teacher is a colleague. In eLearning it’s normal for learners to not know who the course author is as the course is frequently created by an external entity or somebody in a different department. It’s beneficial because when there is a great deal of shared knowledge and context between teacher and student, there’s a greater likelihood that knowledge retention will be long-term. It works best with microlearning as lessons can be quickly and easily created using online templates so that those without L&D training can easily create a course.
