Go to Google.com and type in “Millennials are” and just look at what search engine suggestions come up automatically. Millennials are constantly accused of being lazy, demanding, difficult, and more qualified than they think.
As a young woman who is part of the generation born between about 1982 to 2004, it is pretty unsettling to carry around this reputation that has been attributed to Millennials – especially when looking for a job. My generation is not a group of entitled little children; we simply have our own way of doing things—a result of the rapidly changing world that we were brought up in. Instead of tearing us down, why not focus on our strengths and recognise our potential?
