What Will the Classroom be Like In 100 Years?

At the Bett show in London, a 1:1 Event and host of the World’s Largest Learning Technology Show, there was a very interesting montage made of what predictions in education will look like in the next 30 years. I re-tweeted the photo this morning but thought it was such an interesting topic I decided to write a blog post to explore the future possibilities a bit deeper.

Although, we still have a long way to go in education technology  I predict it will be more like 100 years that these tools will become more commonplace.

Students are the teachers.

Teachers will become facilitators and students will teach themselves. This concept may seem a bit foreign and students may always need a facilitator, especially in the younger grades, but students are quite capable of finding their own path based on their individual interests as expressed by the teachers in this school as shown in a video we recently posted.
