When Learning Met Development

When February comes around, it’s hard not to get caught up in the glow of Valentine’s Day. Pink and red cards, heart-shaped chocolate, and bouquets of flowers surround you everywhere you go, even amidst a global pandemic. The hopeless romantic in me thrives during this time of year. What better feeling is there than love?

During this time of year, I like to avoid the cold weather (if you can ever really describe San Francisco’s weather as cold) by hunkering down in my apartment, indulging in some See’s Candy, and binge-watching my favorite romantic films. There’s something comforting about the repetitive nature of the films and predictable endings. I mean, did you see last year’s “Litmos Actually” video? Like I really love romantic comedies. And if you’ve read any of my past blogs, you’ll know I can’t help comparing what I see on the screen with what I do when I’m working 9 to 5.
