York St John University selects Talis Aspire for improved reading list solution

York St John University have selected Talis Aspire to manage and deliver its online reading lists service.

York St John University Library aims to improve student experience with improved access to resources. They plan to integrate reading lists with their Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Moodle through the Talis Aspire Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) tool.

The library will also see streamlined workflows, with better capability to manage library acquisitions and improved reporting functionality.

Talis Aspire will also be integrated with York St John University’s Library Management System Capita Alto and their Discovery Tool, EBSCO. This will provide a seamless way to add resources to reading lists, and provide direct links to these resources for their students, including real-time library holding information and single sign-on access where relevant.
